- Follow Lesson 10/7/16 (~10 minutes)
- Use sneeze space and thumb molars cue PLUS the release air above larynx concepts.
- Fish gill jaw
- plug ears and record! Make a request before you sing, observe, and give feedback.
- [a e o] 1353-135853-135838531.
- Really focus on breath pressure consistency.
- Release air above the larynx! Don't loose your connection with the breath below
- Don't make drastic changes to the physical body as you ascend. Just let it happen.
- A-O Joint balance.
- The sound is coming out of a hole in your forehead! Let the bright vowels fall forward and out, not fall back.
- Recording was really enlightening for me. I noticed that I definitely close off the nasal resonance space, and it's especially noticeable in my [n/m] sounds. So I worked on humming the music and converting that into my singing.
I'm going to try breaking up my practice more into shorter and more frequent sessions, because I notice after about 25 minutes of "singing" (non-vocalize exercises), I lose my grip on my technique. So I'll try coming back to it later.
