Listen to lessons 2/26/16, 8/5/16, and 7/18/16
- sternum breath
- breath on bottom, pitch on top
- think of oval! It makes a difference
- this also cues molar space without jamming
- no punting
- **Inner smile/A-O Joint balance
- sneeze space
An observation: I sing better throughout the day if I start in the morning/not sleeping in.
UPDATE:
Master Class with Jamilyn Manning-White
"Va! Laisse couler mes larmes"
- "Ok" fingers, loose lips/jaw
- higher [o] for "va!"
- "like that"
- loose mouth!
- "I need a minute" -- keep down the emotion while it bubbles up and sometimes overflows, but keep it under control.
- keep vowel focused--you have a tendency to spread vowel.
Ask questions when singing. "Discovery!"
